There's not been much of an update for the past months as I was pre-occupied with much activities. The house, the pregnancy & the job. Hmm... Now that I've listed them out, it don't seem like much huh. *shrugs*
As of today, I am 29 weeks & 3 days pregnant and I am waddling. Ya, laugh all you want ( hey, I laughed at others too. Karma, I accept. Heh) There are a few reasons why you can't walk as per normal. One, you are damn huge & balance is a challenge. Two, try walking as per normal & you'll be facing abdominal pressure. Those kind that presses on your bladder plus menstrual cramps. Three, either your ankles are swelling up or your back hurts as if you need a back support ALL the time!
And there you have it. We're penguins when we're pregnant. Accept it. I do...! (Evil laughs)
As to the house, we're nowhere near kitchen cabinet completion even though it's been close to two months upon the handing over of those precious keys to us. One thing for sure, for just a 3-room, whole unit of window grills & service yard window plus the kitchen carpentry, quoted to us was close to $8K?? I mean I understand that good things doesn't comes cheap but look at the facts. It is not GRANITE top for the kitchen. No floor tiles or even painting services involved! Why so much huh?
So we finally asked one of Mister's cousin how much her whole renovation costs for the whole 4-room unit. Guess what, hers is only $9K!! Includes tiling & painting & haulage!! So again, why so ex huh for 3-room?? Grr!!
Well now, I think I might have complaint enough for this entry. Save some material for the next post? Sure sure. Psst. We've decided on Lil Bun's name. It's gonna be....
