Half way through January, and many many things have happened that I felt lazy to update up till now.
That very first weekend in January, on the 6th, both my cousins got married and it was so splendid and that was the very first time, Hubby tagged along. He was pretty much uncomfortable with the idea that my mum literally introduced him to everyone that he is her future son-in-law. I tell you one thing, I chuckled at that point of time and he said “Oh tawekan eh! Takpe… Lain kali you punya turn.” But dearest, do you know that you were all sweaty from that “excitement” and nervousness? Hahahaha. And that was the very day that I got my iPanema pair of sandals. Yeap, he bought for me.
My 36th monthsary, 3rd year together with Hubby, falls on the 11th. Dined at Sofra Turkish Restaurant (recommended by Arniza) and it was an experience hard to forget. Thanks a million for that day. And on that very day, he got me another Tatty Bear. This time it came with both hands holding on to a pink flower. Awww! I know! Heh.
And on that 12th, spent the whole day at Linda’s fixing the installation, troubleshooting of the project sites and revising the report. Besides, I bet Linda can remember the time when we spent a little of the time being “LOUD”, being insanely “scratching our heads”, randomly shouting, laughing, singing and even street directory-ing. Hahs! I remember. And I left her house at 11.23pm sharp! No, I didn’t took the MRT back home even though I strongly insisted. Hubby was so caring enough to fetch me back home. How sweet! What would I do without you. *winks*
And that 13th, I remembered he wants to spend time with me after work that he just met me for about an hour before he catch that food poisoning infection. And he kept apologizing even when it wasn’t his fault. Tell me when will a guy actually do that? I felt so much closer to him now than ever before! And that instant, I’ve decided, “I am loving 2008 already!”.
And just a few days back, the 14th, meeting up with my FYP mates for submission. No, there were no smiles on our faces, just plain relief from the months of hardwork being handed over to the one in-charge in them 4 contented CDs. There was a need for me to cry and just laugh it all off but the thing amongst the team members just wouldn’t allow me which I held back till I get home and squealed myself to the Windows Startup screen. It was the day where I felt less burdened by FYP – Forever Your Problem.
Well that’s a wrap for my half of January 2008 and I can’t wait for more! Maybe Masquerade photoshoot at Botanical Gardens? Maybe a hike up the Bukit Timah Hill? Maybe a sleepover? Yeah! I am so graduating. Peace Out!
